Gardening volunteer
As a gardening volunteer, you’ll join our team looking after a variety of beds located within the grounds. Our gallery is situated in wooded parkland on Twickenham Riverside by the River Thames. You’ll work in the woodland ecosystem and other areas of the site.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Regular maintenance such as weeding, watering, planting, and pruning
- Learning and applying new horticultural skills
- Developing your skills through maintaining and caring for our herbaceous borders
- Supporting with tasks identified within our Ecosystem Plan
- Increasing the awareness of the environmental and wellbeing benefits of garden and woodland
- Representing the gallery and Richmond Arts Service
