Our collection
Our Collection has 4500 works covering the last 300 or so years of life and art of what is now called the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Much of this collection is stored at Orleans House Gallery, with works found on display in our Study Gallery and in other cultural venues across the borough, including libraries, Marble Hill House and Kew Gardens. It is frequently part of working artist projects; Study Gallery rehangs and played with by our communities across our engagement programmes. We aim for the Collection to be active for all-comers wanting to find and tell stories, both historical and contemporary in nature.
