Richmond Arts Service uncovers, nurtures and empowers creativity in communities across Richmond, London and the UK. 

We work to create the conditions that artists and creative organisations need to thrive – supporting them to join forces and develop world-class art and ideas that make our borough a unique and inspiring place to live, work and visit.

Through our development programmes, partnerships, festivals, events and exhibitions, we support artists to connect, experiment and explore how art can be used as a tool for change, particularly in response to the climate crisis.

Collaborating with our council colleagues, we harness the creativity of art and artists to find solutions that enhance all areas of life in Richmond: from sustainable living to children’s wellbeing.

We work with people across Richmond upon Thames to design creative projects that make life in the borough better, more creative and more playful.

We run – and are based at – the striking Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham – a free public art gallery set in picturesque woodland beside the Thames, which is also home to the Grade I-listed Octagon Room wedding and events venue.
