Starting out with notes, illustrations and personal diary entries, textile artist Llinos Owen pulls these elements together to form a sequence of large-scale rug pulled tapestries, showcasing them for the first time at Orleans House Gallery.
Despite frequent reminders about the threat coronavirus (COVID – 19) poses to our physical health, the impact subsequent lockdowns have had on the state of mind of those in isolation is often overlooked. This exhibition presents a series of works inspired by Llinos’s personal struggles with mental health in isolation during the peak of the pandemic.
