Self-Guided Visits – Upcoming Exhibitions

Self-Guided Visit sessions are available in May, June and July 2025. Exhibitions that will open during that time are:

27 March – 31 August 2025 Cultural Reforesting

Cultural Reforesting asks the big question: How can we renew our relationship with nature? In this exhibition, the artists remind us that we not only have a relationship with nature but also that we are nature. We are human animals. Together, with our more-than-human neighbours, we are a growing, singing, howling forest. Find out more about the Cultural Reforesting Exhibition.

4 April – 1 June 2025 Gina DeCagna: The Dust Among Greener Leaves

Gina creates a collection of layered and playful drawings, poetry and installations that reconsider Anglo-American myths. She explores how these myths worked hand-in-hand with outdated ideas of permanence and power.

This exhibition is part of our Emerging Artists programme, which supports artists who are within the first ten years of their practice.

June – July 2025 Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival: Imagining the Forest

As part of the Arts and Ideas Festival, we will be sharing work created through a partnership with partners in Karachi, Pakistan and São Paulo. This participatory project will engage artists and communities to spark discussions on themes such as river ecology, treescapes and indigenous knowledge. Artists are Rafael Vilela (São Paulo), Nadeem Al Karimi (Karachi), and Eelyn Lee (London). More information: News — Richmond Arts & Ideas Festival
