DESCRIPTION:Unattributable Briefs: Act Two is part of our Emerging Artis
 t Programme. Rudy Loewe will be interrogating Britain’s role in suppre
 ssing Caribbean Black Power movements during the 1960s and 70s. The exhi
 bition features paintings and documents from The National Archives\, whi
 ch are part of Loewe’s PhD research. Recently declassified records fro
 m the Information Research Department (IRD) are used as source material 
 for painting. The IRD operated secretly within the Foreign &amp\; Common
 wealth Office producing unattributable propaganda. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOpen 
 12 March - 29 May \n\nSupported by the National Lottery through Arts Co
 uncil England and The Research Centre for Transnational Art\, Identity a
 nd Nation (TrAIN)\, University of the Arts London.
