Stories of the Forest
Our woodland is a home to plants from around the Globe. Ethnobotanist Dr Sarah Edwards leads a botanical trip around the world via cross-cultural stories revealing what lies within root, leaf and bark.
Ethnobotany is the study of the interrelationship between people and plants. It includes the study of the use of plants by humans and the relationship between humans and vegetation.
Participants will walk through the Orleans House Gallery woods, so please do dress appropriately for the weather.
This activity is aimed at adults, but anyone is welcome to join. Tickets are free and limited so do let us know if you can no longer come. If children do attend, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
