Special Offeri̶n̶g̶s̶: A Super Solstice Procession
24 June 2023
2pm - 3.45pm
Free
Join us for a joyous, free and immersive procession along the Thames Towpath between Orleans House Gallery and Richmond Bridge. This event will include wild performances from the Orange Tree Theatre Youth Groups and the planting of seed sculptures from Orleans House Gallery’s current exhibition SupermarketForest.
Inspired by how we grow our food and the potential for more sustainable methods of agriculture, SupermarketForest is an installation that is part supermarket, part herbarium, part shrine and it is full of seed sculptures that need planting to create forests of the future.
When and Where!?
We will start at Orleans House Gallery in the courtyard at 1.50pm (our friendly front desk volunteer can point you in the right direction). Then we will make our way across the gallery lawn, to Orleans Gardens and the procession will end within Orleans Gardens.

Let’s get Creative
You can take part in the procession event by joining us for the walk, but also by coming to Let’s Get Creative in the morning and making leaf props for the procession.
