DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Long Table discussion in the&nbsp\;Wha
 t Moves You?&nbsp\;exhibition.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nDeveloped by acclaim
 ed artist and academic Lois Weaver\, the Long Table is an innovative pub
 lic forum that combines elements of performance\, installation\,&nbsp\;d
 iscussion&nbsp\;and social gathering. Described as ‘a performance of a
  dinner party where conversation is the only course’\,&nbsp\;it offers
  a welcoming and inclusive space for people to share ideas\,&nbsp\;exper
 iences&nbsp\;and perspectives.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThe discussion begins with 
 a group gathered around a table (artists and researchers&nbsp\;participa
 ting&nbsp\;in the exhibition)\, with empty chairs available for anyone w
 ho would like to contribute. Participants are invited to join the conver
 sation by taking a seat at the table and can leave whenever they choose.
  The format encourages open dialogue\, active&nbsp\;listening&nbsp\;and 
 the exchange of different viewpoints.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nTogether\, we will e
 xplore themes&nbsp\;emerging&nbsp\;from&nbsp\;What Moves&nbsp\;You?\,&nb
 sp\;including identity\, inclusion\,&nbsp\;belonging&nbsp\;and represent
 ation\, and consider how these connect to our experiences of diversity\,
  equality\,&nbsp\;community&nbsp\;and place.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThe event wil
 l be&nbsp\;facilitated&nbsp\;by Robert Lee\, an experienced cultural lea
 der and diversity specialist who has spent more than four decades champi
 oning artists\,&nbsp\;developing&nbsp\;audiences and creating opportunit
 ies for communities to engage with the arts.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nNo need to bo
 ok\, join us at&nbsp\;any time&nbsp\;between 3-5.30pm\, take part and jo
 in the table or simply be present in the room and listen to the discussi
 ons.&nbsp\;
