SUMMARY:Experimental Resolution: Richmond Upon Thames College
DESCRIPTION:Experimental Resolution showcases a collection of artists wh
 o currently study at Richmond Upon Thames College. \n\nThe artists pres
 ent a range of visual language\, responding to the theme ‘experimentat
 ion’. Their work engages with painting\, photography\, sculpture\, arc
 hitecture\, interior design and graphic design. \n\nExperimentation is 
 a journey into the unknown\, driven by imagination and learning. The art
 ists’ respond to the questions: What does experimentation mean in toda
 y's society? How does experimentation shape the artistic process? In a w
 orld that fears mistakes\, how much room is there for experimentation? 
 \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAbout the programme \n\nExperimental Resolution is part 
 of a partnership between Richmond Arts Service and Richmond Upon Thames 
 College. Students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design course h
 ave been working with established artists and sector professionals since
  February to develop their artistic practice and knowledge of becoming w
 orking artists. \n\nThe students were given an industry brief to commis
 sion a new exhibition for the Stables Gallery responding to the theme â€
 ˜experimentation’. This exhibition showcases the students work as part
  of their final major project. Students have undertaken all roles within
  producing the exhibition\, including creating the marketing\, interpret
 ation and project management\, as well as producing the artwork.
