DESCRIPTION:Care Constellations by Kat Cotta \n\n\n\n\nThrough creative
  reflection\, daydreaming and discussion\, this two-hour creative and pr
 actical&nbsp\;workshop invites you to explore care as an interconnected\
 , collective resource that can sustain us in times of ecological crisis.
 &nbsp\;\n\n\n\nBeginning with creating individual stars that reflect our
  everyday experiences of care\, we will then bring these together to for
 m constellations\, exploring what needs to be protected\, changed or rep
 aired for care to thrive. &nbsp\;\n\n\n\nTogether\, we will make visible
  the relationships and systems through which care is built\, and conside
 r their connection to climate justice.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nWhat to expect:&nbs
 p\;\n\n\n\nCollege and natural materials\, pens and paint\, will be prov
 ided for you to create\, draw or write your own creative rumination on c
 are. You are welcome to also bring along a small personal object that re
 presents care to you. Our collective offerings will be shared with one a
 nother and temporarily woven together\, to explore how they link.&nbsp\;
 \n\n\n\nAbout the facilitator&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nKat Cotta is a creative prod
 ucer\, artist and facilitator who has worked across arts-education and n
 on-profit sectors to design creative interventions for climate and socia
 l justice with local communities and young people\, and support activist
 s engaging in creative forms of nonviolent protest\, where care is a nec
 essary foundation for taking collective risks.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nKat’s att
 ention to care is also informed by their own messy and everyday experien
 ce of it\, and her ongoing project uncovering the (unrecorded) experienc
 es of her late grandma as an anglo-Indian domestic worker.
